The source of this project is primarily rooted in my personal connection to rivers and my experiences growing up in cities where the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers intertwine and flow through the heart of southwest China. These rivers are seen as the lifeblood of the local people. As a result, I realized that the Yarra River is not just a geographical feature, but a symbolic symbol rooted in the structure of Melbourne's identity. As an iconic Victorian river, the Yarra River holds a sacred place in the collective consciousness of the Aboriginal community, embodying spiritual and cultural significance that transcends time.
